1. Cut the 1x6 pine boards into the following lengths: * 6 pieces at 24 inches long * 6 pieces at 18 inches long 2. Cut the 1x4 pine boards into the following lengths: * 2 pieces at 24 inches long * 2 pieces at 18 inches long 3. Cut the 1/2-inch plywood into two pieces, each 1 foot by 2 feet. These pieces will serve as the roof and floor of the bat house. 6. Attach the roof and floor to the bat house by screwing them into place. 7. (Optional) Paint or stain the bat house to protect it from the elements. 8.
