The house sparrow (Passer domesticus) is a common bird found in urban and suburban areas worldwide. While they can be a nuisance due to their aggressive behavior and ability to spread disease, they are also protected by law in some areas. If you're looking for a humane way to control the house sparrow population in your area, consider building a repeating house sparrow trap.
